Filippo Inzaghi warmed the hearts of the San Siro faithful on a bitterly cold evening, with a dramatic late winner against Lecce to keep Milan in striking distance of Juventus at the top of the table. Despite creating plenty of goalscoring chances it looked as if the Rossoneri were about to drop a valuable two points in the title chase when Pippo popped to finish in trademark fashion. The forward was introduced for the last twenty minutes after Alex Konan had equalised Andrea Pirlo’s spectacular opener to resolve the outcome as time was about to run out. Following on from the Champions League win it was another confident display from Carlo Ancelotti's side who now face Brescia in the Italian Cup on Tuesday.
